Measurable Objectives That Pass Review is a focused micro-course for CEU authors and presenters who need to transform vague intentions into precise, assessable learning outcomes. In approximately 15 minutes, participants learn the characteristics of measurable objectives, practice rewriting weak statements, and map each objective to an assessment item. The approach is concise, neutral, and aligned with reviewer expectations.

- A&D liaisons, product marketers, and presenters responsible for submissions.
- LMS administrators who verify alignment between objectives, content, and quiz items.
What you will learn
- What “measurable” means: clear, observable outcomes expressed with action verbs.
- Rewrite technique: replace vague verbs (e.g., understand, learn about) with assessable actions (e.g., list, compare, calculate, select).
- Alignment workflow: map each objective to content minutes and a quiz or performance check.
Learning outcomes
By the end of this course, participants will be able to: (1) convert vague aims into measurable verbs; (2) align each objective to an assessment idea; and (3) identify and correct overlapping or duplicative objectives.
